Handwork Hangout

Service Description

Is there a better way to spend a Friday night than spending time with other fiber and textile enthusiasts? We don't think so! This event isn't an instructional class, but a chance to kick off the weekend, chat with friendly people and get a little work done on your project. Knitters, crocheters, hand sewers, embroiderers, weavers, spinners (what handwork project did we miss?) are all welcome! (Sorry, no sewing machine work during this event but it's a great time to hand sew that hem, finish your quilt binding by hand or bring that seam ripping you've been putting off!) Experience: This is not an instructional event so you should be comfortable with the project you're working on. What to Bring: At a minimum, all your project stuff! You're also welcome to bring snacks and beverages. Ages: 18+ Dates: 10/4 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm with Kathryn 10/18 from 6:30pm- 8:30pm with Laura 11/8 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm with Laura 11/22 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm with Kathryn 12/6 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm with Laura 12/13 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm with Kathryn Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds, credits or transfers for Handwork Hangouts.

Cancellation Policy

-We need a couple of people to hold this. If we have to cancel we'll let you know a few days before and refund your registration fee or transfer it to another date at your request. -There are no refunds, credits or transfers for cancellations or no-shows -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers if necessary. -There is no sewing machine use (yours or ours) during Handwork Hangouts. -We are on the second floor of a building with no elevator access. Please plan accordingly!
