Service Description
**Winter registration begins Nov 23rd for newsletter subscribers and Nov 25th for general registration.** When was the last time you sat down to play at your sewing machine? In this workshop you'll learn how to let your creativity run wild and use smaller bits of fabric to create a beautiful larger piece! You'll learn technical aspects of improvisational quilting (like keeping those seams lying flat) as well as working with color and block composition. Each student will leave with at least 1 block for future projects (they make great pillows and tote bags!) and lots of inspiration for the future! Skill Level: Beginner . Basic sewing machine operation is required. You don't need to have any prior quilting experience. Date and Time: Friday, March 14th from 12pm - 3pm Ages: 16+ Equipment Needed: We have plenty sewing machine and tools for you to use. If you'd like to bring your own machine you are more than welcome to! Materials Needed: You will need to bring various scrap fabric. More details will be sent after registration. Instructor: Laura
Cancellation Policy
-A minimum enrollment must be met by 48 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a Foundations or After School series and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary.
