***Registration schedule: Winter registration will open on November 23 for subscribes and November 25 for general public..*** Teen students will learn fundamental sewing skills while exploring different sewing mediums including garments, quilting, bagmaking and more! IMPORTANT: -Students must take Kid or Adult Sewing Machine 101, a private lesson or have similar experience before starting an after school class. Please contact us before enrolling if your child has experience from outside Hartford Stitch. While they don't need to be proficient, they must have experience winding a bobbin, threading a machine and sewing. You can register for a Kid or Adult Sewing Machine 101 and after school class at the same time. -There is ONE makeup class per session. This is used for illness, schedule conflicts, weather related cancellations, etc. -Students may bring their own machines but may not leave them at the studio between classes. DETAILS Skill Level: Beginner+. Child must have Kid or Adult Sewing Machine 101 or equivalent experience as described above. Ages: middle - high school age Date and Time: Wednesdays, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, from 5pm - 6:15pm. Please note: the makeup day is 3/5 at the same time. Equipment Needed: Equipment is provided. Children are welcome to bring their own machines if they would like. Materials Needed: All materials will be provided are included in the registration fee. Instructor: Laura Kasowitz Cancellation Policy: All cancellation requests must be made 2 weeks before the start date. There are no refunds or credits after this date unless we are able to fill your spot from the waitlist.
Cancellation Policy
-A minimum enrollment must be met by 48 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a Foundations or After School series and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary.
